Get started with Glitter
Here you will learn how to set up your store, add employees, and create and manage your first refer-a-friend and advertising offers. Further down, you'll find helpful tips and proven methods from other successful stores to help you get off to a great start.
Create your profile
We will come to your store, answer questions, set up Glitter for you, and deliver the displays that your customers can scan to refer your store to others.
Add your employees
Open the Glitter app.
Log in with your profile (click on the icon in the upper right corner).
Go to the 'MITARBEITER' section on the home page and click 'Mitarbeiter hinzufügen'.
Enter the email of the employee(s) who want to use the Glitter app.
Your employees download the Glitter app from the App Store or Google Play Store and create a profile with the assigned email.
Your employees can now use Glitter to its full extent without the permission to add new employees.
Create your first refer-a-friend offer
On the home page of the Glitter app, go to 'KUNDEN WERBEN KUNDEN' and click 'Create offer'.
Belohnung Empfehler: Enter the reward for the person who refers your store (e.g. 10% off shoes).
Belohnung Empfohlener: Enter the reward for the invited person (e.g. 15% off shoes).
Click 'Speichern' to activate your offer - from now on, your customers can refer your store.
To delete or edit the offer, click on the offer and choose the desired option.
Create your first advertising offer
On the home page of the Glitter app, go to 'WERBUNG' and click 'Angebot erstellen'.
Beschreibung: Describe your offer (e.g. 10% off shoes).
Datum: Set the duration of validity.
Click 'Speichern' to activate the offer. All customers who follow your store will receive a notification about your new offer and see it on their home page in the Glitter app.
To delete the offer, hold the offer for a longer period and select 'Beenden'.
Redeem offers
Click on the 'Scanner' tab (bottom right).
Your customers show you the offer QR code on their phone.
Scan the QR code to redeem the offer.
The offer is now successfully redeemed and cannot be used again by this person.
